A Cased 12 Bore Pinfire Double Barrelled Shotgun by J. Purdey. Having 78cm damascus barrels signed on the top rib J. Purdey 314 1/2 Oxford Street. Well engraved action, both side-plates, hammers, and body engraved, including the trigger guard and butt plate. Both side-plates signed Purdey with an underlever action. Stocked in superb walnut, chequered at grip with a vacant gold escutcheon.

Well engraved action, both side-plates, hammers, and body engraved, including the trigger guard and butt plate. Both side-plates signed Purdey with an underlever action. Stocked in superb walnut, chequered at grip with a vacant gold escutcheon. In a re-lined case in red cloth, having a Dixons priming tool, cartridge rollover, screwdriver, and powder and shot measure with some empty pinfire cases and cleaning attachments for the rod which is positioned under the barrel. The case with a lifting handle and names engraved in the centre, with brass corners.
