A Prussian model 1873 artillery sword dated 1920 having a regulation curved fullered blade stamped with crowned W and 97 on the back edge at the forte.
A Prussian model 1873 artillery sword dated 1920 having a regulation curved fullered blade stamped with crowned W and 97 on the back edge at the forte.
Stirrup hilt with numerous regimental markings, some struck through, and inspection marks. Plain wooden grip which is complete. Blade is in good condition with some light age related patina. No scabbard.
Blade Length - 75cm. Overall Length - 89cm.
