A continental silver mounted hunting sword late 18th century, with broad fullered blade, double edged towards the point, etched on each on each face with a sun, a series of letters. Engraved silver hilt including feral, top mount and three pairs of washers (one washer missing). Moulded grip of very dark hardwood, possibly ebony. In its leather scabbard with boldly engraved silver lockets, chape and middle band. Blade Length - 57cm. Overall Length - 76cm.
