An Antique 19th Century Turkish Yataghan Short Sword. With characteristic eared pommeled grip going into beadwork brass hilt extending over the iron blade, decorated with flowers and foliage. The curved single edged blade with traces of calligraphic panels. In its leather covered wooden scabbard with silk banding around the mouth, in worn condition. Blade length 65cm.
