An antique lobster tail pot dating from the second quarter of the 17th century.
An antique lobster tail pot, second quarter of the 17th century. Featuring a one piece semi-spherical ribbed skull rising to a ring shape finial on a fixed circular washer, a pointed fix fall with turned edge stamped with M mark and pierced for a removable bar nasal secured by a wing headed screw. Pointed neck guard with four upward lapping lames and dome headed rivets throughout.
