An unusual 10mm six-shot percussion Belgian J.J. Hermans patent semi-hammerless transitional revolver, circa 1847, with octagonal 6 1/4in. smoothbore barrel of Colt form, small dove-tailed fore-sight. In working order. A very well made pistol.

An unusual 10mm six-shot percussion Belgian J.J. Hermans patent semi-hammerless transitional revolver, circa 1847, with octagonal 6 1/4in. smoothbore barrel of Colt form, small dove-tailed fore-sight.
Small standing notch rear-sight, cross-wedge barrel key and Colt style under-barrel articulated rammer, plain borderline engraved six-shot cylinder, partitioned rear-facing nipples, rounded borderline and scroll engraved action with semi concealed hammer drawn back along the top-face by the ring trigger.
Oversize figured walnut grips with full straps, the back strap with thumb-spur and floral engraving, the front-strap marked J.J. HERMAN BREVETE. In working order. A very well made pistol.

Delivery of this item to a UK mainland address is £34.90.
The delivery charge may vary if you add other items to your order.
For UK deliveries, if you place your order before 13:00pm, you should receive your order the next working day in the morning via Parcel Force. We do not dispatch guns on a Friday.
