A Slocums Patent Sliding Sleeve Pocket Revolver .32 Rimfire, made circa 1863-1864. With 7.5cm round sighted barrel, slightly tapering towards the muzzle. Brass slab sided frame engraved with foliate engraving. Shielded trigger, chequered, and hammer likewise. Slightly rounded plain two piece walnut grips. Marked on the barrel B A & Co, for Brooklyn Arms Co. This revolver was patented by Slocum in an attempt to avoid the Rollin White bored through cylinder patent then held by Smith & Wesson. Utilising an unusual five shot cylinder, whereby the sides of each chamber were slid forward and ammunition loaded therein. Overall length 19.5cm.

Delivery of this item to a UK mainland address starts from £25.00*.

* A surcharge may be incurred on extra long guns and/or delivery to remote addresses.

The delivery charge may vary if you add other items to your order.

For UK deliveries, if you place your order before 13:00pm, you should receive your order the next working day in the morning via Parcel Force.
