An Antique Pair of Queen Ann 25 Bore Silver-Mounted Flintlock Turn-Off Pistols by Wilson of London, Silver Makers Mark Of John Allen, Circa 1760 with three-stage cannon barrels, breeches each engraved LONDON in small capitals, decorated with foliage in front of a ramp at the rear, and signed in script beneath each chiselled steel-spring, , waisted border engraved tangs each decorated with foliage, rounded cocks en suite (one replaced), border engraved trigger-guards each decorated with foliage, figured rounded butts, cast and chased mounts comprising trophy of arms side-plates and vacant escutcheons, and grotesque mask butt-caps, London proof marks and Wilsons barrelsmiths mark. Barrel length is 13cm and overall length is 28cm.
