A 22 bore Ottoman Miquelet lock gun (Shishana) Turkey late 18th century. With octagonal swamped sighted barrel 84cm. Retained by three chased silver bands. Standing back sight pierced with two apertures. Engraved lock chiselled with foilage and with traces of silver encrusted decoration. Full stock applied with a large silver plaque over the forward portion of the forend. faceted boot applied with pierced engraved brass plaques, further large brass plaques about the trigger cut with a brief inscription. Large faceted ivory butt cap and two iron sling swivels, (ram rod missing). Overall length 117cm.
