An antique Ottoman 18 bore Miquelet lock rifle. Early 19th century.
An antique Ottoman 18 bore Miquelet lock rifle. Early 19th century. Swamped octagonal fluted twist sighted barrel, rifled with rifling in very good condition, 68 cm. Decorated with silver encrusted lines framing panels of foliage. Charateristic shape, standing rear sight. Flat lock with silver inlayed ornament and with silver covered fence baring a small makers mark. Walnut three quarter stock profusely decorated with inlayed brass pellets, horn and bone plaques, panels and roundels, the barrel retained by two brass bands. A very nice and desirable ottoman rifle.

If you are unavailable to take delivery, Parcel Force will leave a card for you. Simply follow the instructions on the card to arrange redelivery or collection from a depot.
