AN 80 BORE GLOBE RESERVOIR AIRGUN BY T.MORTIMER & CO., 44 LUDGATE HILL, LONDON, NO. 760, CIRCA 1806-16 with sighted barrel formed in three stages, engraved with a sunburst at the median and inscribed with the makers address over the breech, engraved tang, flush-fitting lock engraved with foliage around the border, engraved with game birds and signed on an oval within a ground of foliage, numbered on the top and fitted with engraved cocking lever, figured walnut half-stock, chequered grip, the butt with raised cheek-piece, engraved iron mounts comprising trigger-guard with pineapple finial, butt-plate and rear ramrod-pipe each decorated with a starburst, vacant silver escutcheon, a pair of silver barrel bolt escutcheons, brass-tipped ramrod and with its reservoir. 82cm, overall length 122cm.
