100 Bore Bellows Air Rifle by Winter of Munich, circa 1770. With octagonal sighted 79cm barrel, 100 bore, with bead foresight and two position flip up rear sight. The breech picked out in silver with scrollwork and marked JOHANNES WINTER A MUNCHEN. Fully stocked in walnut, horn cap with figured ramrod channel, breech and stock carved and figured with foliage.

Brass furniture comprising side plate, ramrod pipes, trigger guard, butt cap and bellows housing. Raised cheekpiece with carved roccoco flowers. Mechanism spindle to the right hand side of the butt stock, secured by iron screws. Lever forwards of the set trigger to release the breech for loading. Double set triggers. The wrist with provision for an additional peep sight.
