A 54 Bore Percussion Boxlock Pocket Pistol by Thomas, late 18th century. Converted from flintlock, with turn-off cannon barrel, rounded border engraved action signed on a foliate scroll on one side and with a foliate rocaille and part martial trophy on the other, sliding trigger-guard safety-catch engraved with a flower-head on the bow, figured rounded swelling butt inlaid with silver wire scrollwork and foliage, and silver grotesque mask butt-cap with scallop shell above and Birmingham silver hallmarks, makers mark of Charles Freeth, private Birmingham proof marks. Barrel length 5.5cm, overall length 19cm.

Delivery of this item to a UK mainland address starts from £20.00*.
