A pair of antique 54 bore flintlock boxlock pistols by I Collis, Oxford. Circa 1785. Turn off cannon barrels, 9.5cm. Overall length 24cm. Signed border engraved actions, border engraved ring neck cocks and steels. Sliding trigger guard safety catches each engraved with a flower head on the ball and figured flat sided butts each inlaid with solver wire and rocailles on both sides. Scrollwork down the back. London proof marks.
