A Rare 8 Bore (2 2/7) Breech Loading Fowling Piece, Sniders Patent. Converted from an earlier percussion gun, circa 1868, with octagonal to 16 sided to round damascus barrel, 80cm, overall length 130cm.
A Rare 8 Bore (2 2/7) Breech Loading Fowling Piece, Sniders Patent. Converted from an earlier percussion gun, circa 1868, with octagonal to 16 sided to round damascus barrel, 80cm, overall length 130cm. The top flat with original partial makers signature (partly obscured), flip open Sniders breech and locking thumb catch, marked both Sniders Patent & Newarks Patent. Border and scroll engraved back action locks signed in an oval, Thos. Jackson Edward Street behind an engraving of a feeding pheasant. Chequered pistol grip, half stocked in walnut, iron furniture, relief carved fore end tip and no provision for ramrod. Good working order.

Delivery of this item to a UK mainland address is £34.90.
The delivery charge may vary if you add other items to your order.
For UK deliveries, if you place your order before 13:00pm, you should receive your order the next working day in the morning via Parcel Force. We do not dispatch guns on a Friday.

WILL I NEED TO SIGN FOR MY ORDER?
Yes, your parcel will need to be signed for. Delivery will be via Parcel Force in the morning. The parcel may not be left without a signature. If you are unavailable to take delivery, Parcel Force will leave a card for you. Simply follow the instructions on the card to arrange redelivery or collection from a depot.
