A 19th Century Iberian Powder Horn. Formed from a section of cowhorn stained brown overall and carved in relief with a sportsman firing his miquelet lock longarm, the remaining surfaces inhabited by birds and animals including a seven headed serpent, a bull, a goat, dogs, a tortoise, and a fish, and with a knotted design and a fruiting tree. The top reduced and fitted with a G. & J.W. Hawksley white metal top with adjustable nozzle or 2 to 3 Drams. White metal base plate, and two rings for suspension.
