A cased set of small binoculars made by Thomas Armstrong & Brothers of Manchester & Paris circa 1863. The black adjustable binoculars have brass edging on the lenses and leather covers on the front part. The initials FRM are engraved between the two front lenses. The smaller lenses have T. Armstrong & Bro stamped onto them with the left side having Manchester included and the right lense displaying Paris. Bees are also visable on the left lense and the frame. Some wear to the leather on the right side. The original leather case also has the initials F.R.M. picked out on the lid, original purple lining still present with Thos. Armstrong & Brother Manchester & Paris in gold lettering. In good working order.
