Two antique Burmese Dhas 19th century. Each with slightly curved single edged blade decorated over its entire length on each side in damascened silver with engraved figures in contemporary costume. Labeled in Burmese script and divided by panels of scrolling foliage. The forte on each Side with further Bernese inscriptions and wooden hilts each entirely covered in silvered brass. Embossed and chased with bands of foliage and large spherical pommels en suite. Each in its wood lined scabbard en set with the hilt and with two rings for suspension. The blades 78.5cm. Overall length, 112.5cm. They were most likely owned by members of the Kings household or guard.
