A Swiss Sig bayonet for use with the Swiss SIG Stgw (Sturmgewehr) 57 assault rifle, which was in production from 1957 to 1983. Bayonet in very good condition. In very good condition. Overall Length - 38cm. Blade Length - 24cm.
This is a No. 9 bayonet made by Armaments Corporation of South Africa (ARMSCOR). These were produced in South Africa into the 1960s. Plain Scabbard and blade with both retaining much of its original finish.
