An antique German hunting sword, early 19th century with broad blade double edged towards the point, 54.5cm.
An antique German hunting sword, early 19th century with broad blade double edged towards the point, 54.5cm. Retaining traces of an etched design on each face. Brass hilt comprising a pair of short quillons with globular terminals. Cap pommel, stag horn grip applied with a pair of brass acorns and oak foliage. A well made, strong hunting sword.
