New Range Of IMR REACH Compliant Powder
With the changes to legislation in the UK in 2018, powders that do not have REACH compliant chemistry will soon be unavailable, causing shooters to switch to different products.
However, to be able to offer our customers a wider selection of powders that meet REACH standards, we have expanded the range of IMR powders that we have available.

New Range of IMR Powders
The new IMR range of powders have comparable burn speeds to competitor powders. IMR powders use modern technology to ensure the product is “green,” burns clean and, in most cases, results in more energy from each grain of powder. IMR powders are consistent in bulk densities from lot to lot, eliminating some of the variability inherent in other competitors.
REACH Compliant IMR Powders Available from Henry Krank
Henry Krank are stocking four new IMR powders that are REACH compliant in 2018.
IMR Blue • IMR Enduron 4166 • IMR Enduron 4955 • IMR Enduron 7977

With the slowest burn speed of the new IMR family,IMR Blue is a true magnum propellant yielding outstanding performance in 12-gauge shotshells. Ideal burn speed where 1-1⁄4- and 1-3/8-oz. loads are the norm. Data for 10-gauge, 16-gauge and 20- gauge also available, providing true magnum velocities and performance. Available in 1lb / 454g bottles.
IMR Enduron series
The main features of the Enduron series are copper fouling eliminator, insensitivity to temperature changes, ideal loading density and being environmentally friendly.
Henry Krank stock three varieties from the Enduron series:
IMR Enduron 4166 is a versatile, match-grade propellant, with the fastest burn rate in the Enduron line. It is an extruded powder with a perfect burn speed for cartridges like 308 Winchester, 7.62mm NATO, 22-250 Remington or 257 Roberts, among other cartridges. This propellant performs comparably to Hodgdon Varget but charge weights are materially different. Available in 1lb / 454g bottles.
IMR Enduron 4955 is a versatile, match-grade propellant with a mid-range burn speed that is in between IMR4451 and IMR7977. It is an extruded powder and provides top performance for big game cartridges like 25-06, 270 Winchester, 280 Remington and 300 Win Mag, among other cartridges. This propellant performs comparably to Hodgdon H4831 but charge weights are materially different. Available in 1lb / 454g bottles.
IMR Enduron 7977 is the slowest burn rate in the Enduron family. Loading density is perfect for magnums, contributing to superb uniformity. This is a true magnum propellant yielding outstanding performance in 300 Winchester Magnum, 7mm Remington Magnum and 338 Lapua, among other cartridges. Loading density is perfect for magnums, nicely filling the case at maximum charges, contributing to superb uniformity and accuracy. IMR 7977 performs comparably to Hodgdon H1000 but charge weights are materially different. Available in 1lb / 454g bottles.
