Blast From The Past
A little blast from the past, (sorry for the pun), we found some old photographs of the Henry Krank Shop from years ago. A lot has changed since then, the World, the Law and even our tiled floor. The one thing that hasn’t changed though is our commitment to customer service. What makes Henry Krank’s a bit different? Well, we’ve been in the gun trade for over 40 years. However, it wasn’t always known by the same distinctive name. In the beginning, the company was run under the name of John Longstaff who was based in Armley, Leeds. As the business grew, Longstaff relocated to Pudsey, Leeds in the 1960s. By the early 1970s there were two members of staff working for the company who are still an integral part of the team today, (they aren’t prisoners, we promise they can leave).
Thousands of people have come through our door and we do our best to make sure that every one of them leaves happy and fulfilled. As the first company in Pudsey to get a computer, or as it was then, an enormous box the size of room with tape coming out of it we’ve been on the high street for years. The computers may have got smaller, but our range of stock certainly hasn’t. We’re full to the brim with the most unusual items you could find, it’s always worth a call to check if something is in stock.
Speaking of stock the Henry Krank Catalogue is another of those timeless items, a catalogue packed full of items has been produced by us every year for decades, we still get people calling up reading from their 2004 issue. Once the initial confusion is out of the way it’s business as usual. If you haven’t get a catalogue from us then click here and order one for free.
Who doesn’t love a bit reminiscence? Our old and new photos show how much things have changed. Note the guns in the old display cabinets. Does anyone remember visiting the shop during this period? If so let us know, we would love to hear from you.
