A very unusual and rare Brown Bess, having a barrel 99cm, overall length 140cm, lock marked GR with tower. Fully stocked, stock carved with W.R, 1699 with a Stuart crest above and latin motto Nemo me impune lacessit, most likely for William II Regina (ruled 1689-1702),
A very unusual and rare Brown Bess, having a barrel 99cm, overall length 140cm, lock marked GR with tower. Fully stocked, stock carved with W.R, 1699 with a Stuart crest above and latin motto Nemo me impune lacessit, most likely for William II Regina (ruled 1689-1702).
On the other side carved R R McGregor, on the forestock carved Load Her Righte, Hold Her Tight on the left hand side and Shes gun to mak faes run. Stock carvings filled with thistle, acorn and lion motifs throughout. Brass furniture, long butt cap spur and convex brass side plate. Rounded brass trigger guard with rounded finial. Lock and barrel marked WG for William Grice. Three brass ramrod pipes and iron ramrod.

Yes, your parcel will need to be signed for. Delivery will be via Parcel Force in the morning. The parcel may not be left without a signature. If you are unavailable to take delivery, Parcel Force will leave a card for you. Simply follow the instructions on the card to arrange redelivery or collection from a depot.
