Details

An antique very good pair of 20 bore percussion officers pistols , circa 1835 by Joesph March of Woodcock Street, Birmingham. Brown octagonal wire twist barrels each with dovetailed for blood foresight,20cm. The engraved colour case hardened break offs with single gold line. Overall length, 34cm. Signed, bolted, colour case hardened locks engraved together with the dolphin hammer and sighted tangs with foliage. Walnut half stock are in bag shaped and have chequered grips. Engraved charcoal blued trigger guards and pineapple finales. German silver forend caps and stirrup ramrods. Retaining virtually all original colour and blueing. In good working order.
