A Scottish silver mounted Dirk, mid 19th century, with tapering blade double edged toward the tip, 30.7cm. Stamped Young Edin on one face at the forte. Shaped wooden grip carved with characteristic basket-weave designs and leaves around the base of the pommel. Fitted with silver collared ferrule and cap pommel in its leather scabbard with matching chape, locket and two further bands, complete with its accompanying knife and fork. The former stamped Young and the locket with two loops for suspension.
