A complete set of 4 British Hunts and Huntsmen folio size, published in 1910 in conjunction with Sporting Life. In good condition, half bound in scarlet leather with five raised bands.
A complete set of 4 British Hunts and Huntsmen folio size, published in 1910 in conjunction with Sporting Life. In good condition, half bound in scarlet leather with five raised bands. Finely bound with gilt edges on the cover and gilt page edges. Gilding and binding largely intact, marbled flyleaves inside each book, each in very good condition. Minor foxing to occasional leaves, plates slightly yellowed with age. Some light fire damage to one edition (South-East), which has caused some leaves to adhere, some marks to the cover of each and some minor damage to edges.
Covering hunts across Great Britain (including Ireland), each book is dedicated accordingly; The South-West of England, 591pp, The South-East, East and East Midlands of England, 606pp, England (North), Scotland and Ireland, 625pp, The North-East, West Midlands of England, and Wales, 664pp.
