A 140-bore Adams five shot revolver having a sighted octagonal barrel, top flat signed WILLIAM & POWELL 55 SOUTH CASTLE STREET LIVERPOOL, cylinder with London proof marks. Adams patent and number on the right hand side. Safety also on the right locking the cylinder, loading lever on the left, with very fine chequering on the walnut grip, having nearly all original finish. In working order.
Case containing a bullet mould, powder flask, oil bottle, cleaning rod, percussion caps, screwdriver, nipple key and a box for spare nipples. Inside of the case has an original trade label. Vacant round escutheon on the lid.
Barrel Length - 11cm. Overall Length - 26cm.
