With a two-stage cannon barrel with turned moulding around the muzzle and rifled with six spiral grooves, octagonal breech struck with contemporary spurious English proof marks and barrel smiths mark, plain tang, rounded lock inscribed I . Baker, figured butt with rounded grip, iron mounts comprising scrolled foliate side-plate, drop-shaped vacant escutcheon, spurred pommel with stepped rounded cap centred on a threaded screw, and trigger-guard with rounded pointed finial. A very unusual rifled pistol. In good working order.
