German Wheelock rifle by Eule J, who worked between 1598-1625 in Sachsen. Barrel 84cm with front and rear sights. Dated 1610 with Eules stamps. See Stockel page 348. The barrel is rifled for a square bullet, very rare indeed. Diameter of square bullet 1.5cm. Plain enclosed lock with some engraving on hammer. Push button pan cover. Set trigger. Fully stocked in rosewood with minor blemishes. Bone inlay very tastefully done. Patch box inlaid. Overall length 11cm.
