A Circa 1870 honourable artillery company officers sword. Slightly pitted etched blade with foliage and owners initials 78.5cm, overall length 93.5cm. Gilt brass hit withflaming grenade. Fish skin grip with brass wire. Black leather scabbard with brass mounts. The honourable artillery company is the oldest regiment in the British army, established by King Henry VIII in 1537.
