Bowie knife by Joseph Rodgers & Son, cutlers to their majesties of no.6 Norfolk Street, Sheffield. Mid 19th century. Signed blade with a clipped back point 23cm. patinated. Original staghorn grip scales retained by four German silver rivets. Overall length 34cm. German silver cross piece, back strap and pomal. In its original leather scabbard with German silver mounts. In untouched original condition throughout.
