A very rare swing to the side breech loading rifle, 54 bore. "Marked Improved Patent Rifle" on the breech, octagonal barrel with sights 75cm long, overall length 118cm. Top tang, action and furniture really well engraved, half stocked in walnut with chequered grip and an escutcheon.
