Flintlock boxlock pistol, 54 bore by Griffin & Tow. Turn off cannon barrel 5cm, overall length 18cm. Side plates engraved and signed ‘Griffin & Tow London’. Throat hole cock with sliding top safety. Frizzen spring inlaid into breech. Slab sided walnut butt. Circa 1771.
