A double percussion shotgun by Dooley of Liverpool, 14 bore. Stub twist barrels with golden line at breech 71cm long, overall length 112cm. Steel furniture engraved, stocked in walnut with chequered forend and grip with a gold escutcheon, original ebony ramrod. In original case with accessories and trade label. This gun belonged to Thomas Stanford Raffles.
