A very rare German double barrelled percussion sword pistol, circa 1840. The double edge spear point blade having central fuller on each side. The cross guard mounted with a 60 bore barrel either side. The top part of each cross guard acting as the hammer to fire the respective barrel. Grooved brass grip with trophy embossed pommel. Double folding triggers. In its original leather scabbard with brass chape and locket. Barrels 11cm, blade 35cm, overall length 50cm.
