A blunderbuss flintlock pistol, almost certainly German. Barrel part octagonal part round and oval at the flared muzzle. Extremely good quality lock with an unusual safety on the front of the cock. All furniture brass and heavily chiselled on with hunting and war scenes. Fully stock in walnut with carved stock and a vacant brass escutcheon. This extremely rare and desirable pistol.
