A lobster tail pot, second quarter of the 17th century with one piece semi-spherical ribbed skull rising to a ring shape finial on a fixed circular washer, pointed fix fall with turned edge stamped with "m" mark and pierced for a removable bar nasal secured by a wing headed screw. Pointed neck guard with four upward lapping lames and dome headed rivets throughout.
